Leather care

With the right care, your leather bag will stay beautiful and last for years. Here are some simple tips to keep it looking its best:

Cleaning

Dust your bag regularly with a soft, dry cloth. If needed, use a slightly damp cloth for a gentle wipe, and remember to clean the hardware too.

Conditioning

Nourish your leather with a thin layer of our leather cream. Apply it using a lint-free cloth, microfibre cloth, or sponge, working in even circular motions. Allow it to dry for a few minutes, then buff with a soft cloth or polish brush for a refined shine.

  • Suitable for all smooth leathers, adding a natural lustre and light water resistance.

  • Not recommended for suede or nubuck (though it can create a waxy effect if used on the latter).

Weatherproofing

Leather is naturally porous and not fully waterproof. Protect your bag from water spills, and if it does get wet, let it dry slowly and naturally, never with heat.

Storing

Store your bag in a cool, well-ventilated space.

  • Use a fabric dust bag and add silica gel packets to reduce moisture.

  • Fill your bag with stuffing to maintain its shape.

  • Air it every few weeks (depending on climate) to prevent mold.

Protecting

  • Keep out of direct sunlight.

  • Avoid excessive heat or open flames.

  • Protect from sharp or abrasive surfaces.

  • Do not use harsh chemicals.
